This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) governs how we, Parametrix Solutions Inc.  (“Parametrix”, “we”, “our” or “us”) use Personal Information (defined below) that we collect, receive and store pertaining to you (“User”, “you”) in connection with (i) the website [https://parametrixinsurance.com/], and any other website that we operate (each, together with its sub-domains, content and services, a “Site”); and (ii) the Dashboard, the “Dashboard”. The Site and the Dashboard are individually and collectively referred to herein as the “Services”.

We use Personal Information in connection with the following use cases:

    1. When we process your job application
    2. When you subscribe to our newsletter
    3. When you contact us (e.g. customer support, etc.)
    4. When you request an estimate (“Get Covered”)

We greatly respect your privacy, which is why we make every effort to provide a platform that would live up to the highest of user privacy standards. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, so you can fully understand our practices in relation to Personal Information.

CONSENT AND MODIFICATION

You are not legally obligated to provide us Personal Information, and you hereby confirm that providing us Personal Information is at your own free will. By using the Services, you consent to the terms of this Privacy Policy and to our collection, processing and sharing of Personal Information for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or otherwise use the Services. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change this Privacy Policy at any time. Such change will be effective ten (10) days following posting of the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, and your continued use of the Services thereafter means that you accept those changes. If any change to this policy materially affects you, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance, such as by sending an email. We will give you a reasonable period of time to object to any changes and we will seek affirmative consent if and where this is required by applicable data protection laws. 

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT, WHY WE COLLECT IT, AND HOW IT IS USED

We collect different kinds of Personal Information through our Services and use such information in different ways.

When you visit our Site or use the Dashboard we collect certain information, such as your IP address, type of internet browser and operating system you use, pages viewed, the URL that you visited before you entered to our Site, and the URL to which you go next. We do this in order to understand how you and other visitors navigate through our Site and use the Dashboard, and to improve your experience using it. When you use certain features of our Site such as to contact us, sign up for a newsletter, or request a quote, we will collect certain information such as your name, email address, phone number, country of residence, company name, and position and any other information you provide. We will use this information solely as necessary for the provision of the particular feature you are requesting.

When registering and using the Dashboard, we need to get some Personal Information from you, which includes your full name, email address, phone number, the company which you work at, and your signature.

Retention of your Personal Information. We retain Personal Information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of using such information under this policy and as permitted by law. In some circumstances we may store your Personal Information for longer periods of time, for example (i) where we are required to do so in accordance with legal, regulatory, tax or accounting requirements, or (ii) for us to have an accurate record of your dealings with us in the event of any complaints or challenges, or (iii) if we reasonably believe there is a prospect of litigation relating to your Personal Information or dealings.

HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We do not sell, rent, lease or otherwise provide Personal Information to third parties. We share this information with third-party service providers to help us operate, manage and protect the Services. These service providers provide us with services such as analytics, enrichment and marketing automation.

We will share your Personal Information as follows:

Advertising partners – through our Services, we allow third-party advertising partners to set technologies and other tracking tools to collect information regarding your activities and your device (e.g., your IP address, mobile/website identifiers, page(s) visited, location, time of day). We also combine and share such information and other information (such as demographic information and past purchase history) with third party advertising partners. These advertising partners will use this information (and similar information collected from other websites) for purposes of delivering targeted advertisements to you when you visit third party websites within their networks. We allow access to other data collected by the Services to share information that may be useful, relevant, valuable or otherwise of interest to you. If you prefer not to share your Personal Information with third party advertising partners, you may let us know.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Such information may be transferred to other countries (including US). We require that these parties agree to process such information in compliance with our Privacy Policy.

We may share your Personal Information with our third party service providers and partners, but only to assist us with our business operations and to provide our Site to you and other users. Such information may be transferred to other countries. We use commercially reasonable efforts to only engage or interact with third party service providers and partners that maintain information security practices which are similar to ours and post a privacy policy governing their processing of Personal Information.

We may disclose your Personal Information or any information you submitted via the Site if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our Terms, including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud or security issues; or (iv) protect against harm to the rights, property or safety of Parametrix, our users, yourself or the public.

USE BY CHILDREN

We do not offer our products or Services for use by children. If you are under 18, you may not use the Site, or provide any information to the Site without involvement of a parent or a guardian. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from, and/or about children.

ACCESS/ACCURACY

To the extent that you do provide us with Personal Information, we wish to maintain accurate Personal Information. If you would like to delete or correct any of your other Personal Information that we may be storing, you may submit an access request by sending an email to info@prarametrixinsurance.com. Your email should include adequate details of your request.

HOW CAN I DELETE MY ACCOUNT?

At any time, you can contact us at: info@parametrixinsurance.com and request to access the Personal Information that we keep about you. We will ask you to provide us certain credentials to make sure that you are who you claim to be and to the extent required under applicable law, will make good-faith efforts to locate the Personal Information that you request to access.

Should you ever decide to delete your Account, you may do so by emailing info@parametrixinsurance.com. If you terminate your Account, any association between your Account and the information we store will no longer be accessible through your Account. However, given the nature of sharing on the Services, any public activity on your Account prior to deletion will remain stored on our servers and will remain accessible to the public, if permitted by law.

LINKS TO AND INTERACTION WITH THIRD PARTY PRODUCTS

The Site may enable you to interact with or contain links to your Third-Party Account and other third-party websites and services that are not owned or controlled by us (each a “Third Party Service”). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such Third Party Services. Please be aware that Third-Party Services may collect Personal Information from you. Accordingly, we encourage you to read the terms and conditions and privacy policy of each Third Party Service that you choose to use or interact with.

LOG FILES

We make use of log files. The information inside the log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, type of browser, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamp, referring/exit pages, clicked pages and any other information your browser may send to us. We may use such information to analyze trends, administer the Site, track users’ movement around the Site, and gather demographic information.

COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our Site utilizes “cookies”, anonymous identifiers and other tracking technologies in order to help us to provide our Site and present you with information that is customized for you. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about activity on the Site. Certain cookies and other technologies may serve to recall Personal Information, such as an IP address, previously indicated by a user. Aggregated and Analytical Information

We use the standard analytics tools such as Google Analytics and we will use additional or other analytics tools, from time to time, to learn about how you and other users use our website. The privacy practices of these tools are subject to their own privacy policies (See further information about how Google uses data when you use our website at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/), and they use their own cookies to provide their service. You may prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics by downloading and installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/. In addition, we use Hotjar in order to better understand our users’ needs and to optimize our Services. Hotjar is a technology service that helps us better understand our users’ experience (e.g. how much time they spend on which pages, which links they choose to click, what users do and don’t like, etc.) and this enables us to build and maintain our service with user feedback. Hotjar uses cookies and other technologies to collect data on our users’ behavior and their devices. This includes a device’s IP address (processed during your session and stored in a de-identified form), device screen size, device type (unique device identifiers), browser information, geographic location (country only), and the preferred language used to display our website. Hotjar stores this information on our behalf in a pseudonymized user profile. Hotjar is contractually forbidden to sell any of the data collected on our behalf. You can opt-out to the creation of a user profile, Hotjar’s storing of data about your usage of our Website, and Hotjar’s use of tracking cookies on other websites on this link https://www.hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out.

Furthermore, you can prevent your data from being used by Facebook Pixels and SDKs by exercising your choice through these mechanisms: http://www.aboutads.info/ choices or http://www.youronlinechoices.eu/.

We use anonymous, statistical, or aggregated information and will share it with our partners for legitimate business purposes. It has no effect on your privacy, because there is no reasonable way to extract data from the aggregated information that we or others can associate specifically with you.

In these circumstances, we do not disclose any information that could be used to personally identify you. We will share personally identifiable information related to you only subject to the terms of this policy, or subject to your prior consent.

Job Applicants

This section applies to you, in addition to the other sections of this privacy policy, if you use our Site to apply to one of our offered positions.

In such cases, we collect Personal Information, such as your full name, email address, phone number, social media information, CV, and other documents which will help us to assess your candidacy. Note that any Personal Information that you provide us about your work and personality traits such as answers during an interview, or answers to essay questions, or information about your salary expectations and work references will be collected as well.

We collect these categories of Personal Information for the recruiting process – so that we could assess your candidacy and suitability for a job with us, whether it is the position that you applied for, or other vacant positions, to be in contact with you during the recruitment process and to prepare and offer you an employment contract if we decide to hire you.

We may also use your Personal Information for our human resources’ management in general – (i) to maintain our HR record keeping; (ii) to comply with diversity, inclusion, and other legal requirements and to protect our legal rights; (iii) to combine your Personal Information with information that we receive from third-party service providers; and (iv) when we believe in good-faith that using your Personal Information is necessary to protect the life, health, safety or our or others’ other vital interests.

Our HR platform service provider – Comeet – will collect such Personal Information as well, and on our behalf. Comeet is our third-party service provider that handles our job recruitment process (see further information in Comeet’s privacy policy – https://help.comeet.com/en/articles/3134994-privacy-notice).

Applying for a job and submitting your job candidacy materials is voluntary and at any time, if you have already applied for a job and would like to withdraw your job candidacy, you can contact us and request that we stop considering your application and that we delete your profile and any materials we collected. We store your job application documents and content for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of using such Personal Information and as permitted by law.
